She first came in an envelope, with letters, forms, and such
Just a tiny little picture, with nothing warm to touch.
She grew in your imaginations, in your hearts and in your minds.
She has brought you even greater joy, than you'd ever thought you'd find.
A phone call started labor pains, which lasted 'til you met.
Strangers brought together, a day you won't forget.
Your wanting and your waiting, are finally at an end.
Your precious child is home to stay, a gift that God did surely send.
